Employee Spotlight: Cole Boyer
So far in our Employee Spotlight blog series, I’ve introduced you to Deborah and Mell, two amazing women who make up part of the Empire team. Today, I’m delighted to feature Cole Boyer, who recently was named Employee of the Month! Cole has been with Empire for six months, and already has proven himself to be a hard-working go-getter, who is determined to help clients visualize and build their dream homes. Please tell me about yourself!
“I’m a full-time kitchen designer, who also goes to college full-time to study finance. Also, I play ruby!”
- How long have you been at Empire?
“I have been at Empire for six months.”

What do you feel sets Empire apart from similar businesses?
“I feel that the variety sets Empire apart from other jobs. We can get top of the line running line products for a dream kitchen, or, we also have access to the economical lines. So whether you're a flipper, or a real estate investor, or a homeowner in your forever home, we have everything that you would ever need.”
- What is your favorite part of your job?
“My favorite part is kitchen design. [I enjoy] sitting with people, and turning their dreams into reality in my 3D software…it is the most amazing process.”
- What advice do you have for someone who comes into the store, with NO idea how to start remodeling or designing their house?
“Find me. I've seen it, I've done it--I can come out to the property, measure the dimensions, and help you to visualize the space of your dreams”.
- Do you have any highlights/fun stories from being on the job?
“We get out and go to lots of events, such as Reading Phillies games, and that’s always a great time.”
